Book Concept + Art Direction for Hochparterre

«Landschaftsarchitektur lernen» looks back on 50 years of teaching and research in landscape architecture in Rapperswil. Published by Edition Hochparterre, the book traces the development of the programme since its beginnings in 1972 while addressing current and future questions around urban density, biodiversity, climate change, digitalisation and design.
Studio Nomad developed the editorial design for the anniversary publication, bringing together historical material, contemporary contributions and different perspectives on teaching and research. The design provides a clear structure for the various layers of content, while allowing photography, archival material and text to coexist throughout the book.
A publication that documents five decades of landscape architecture education while looking at how the discipline continues to evolve.
