Branding for Jonas Weibel Photography

Jonas Weibel is a Zurich-based photographer with a distinctive visual language, often working with direct flash, strong contrasts and a playful approach to his subjects.

In close collaboration with Jonas, Studio Nomad developed a brand identity that builds on his existing photographic language. Bold typography, bright colours and a recurring smile symbol pick up on the direct and playful character of his work, forming a visual system that extends across print, digital and other applications.

The same approach carries through to the website, where large-scale typography and photography take up most of the space. The result is a portfolio that feels closely connected to Jonas’ way of working and gives his images room to change while the identity around them remains recognisable.
