Book Concept + Editorial Design for Naturage

Heilpflanzen am Wegesrand entdecken invites readers to take a closer look at the plants that grow all around us. The book introduces 40 medicinal plants found in Switzerland — from horsetail to lemon balm — combining botanical knowledge, insights into herbal medicine and everyday recipes. Scientific illustrations accompany each plant portrait, revealing details that might otherwise go unnoticed.

Studio Nomad developed the editorial design for the book, translating the wealth of botanical and scientific content into a clear and accessible visual language. Typography, layout and imagery create a calm rhythm throughout the publication, allowing the individual plant portraits and illustrations to unfold while bringing structure to the different layers of information.
